The "Ethical and Civic Education" contributes towards the acquisition of basic competences in the social and citizenship sphere.
The Ethical and Civic Education project, based on the same goals as Education for Citizenship, focuses on freedom and responsibility within the context of democratic societies, in which peace, social and gender equality, respect for individual differences and solidarity are presented as ethically valuable concepts.
At the same time, Ethical and Civic Education, taking on board Human Rights from the ethical perspective, will identify the different ethical theories and their contribution to the construction of a common set of ethics, the basis of living together in democratic societies. |
